The Library of Congress highlighted free primary source sets for Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, including Chinese immigration narratives, Japanese American internment documents, and AAPI historical photographs for classroom use.

According to a post on the Library of Congress Educators Blog on May 5, librarian Colleen Smith has compiled and recommended a collection of free teaching resources on Asian Pacific American (APA) history, open to elementary and secondary school teachers.

The resources include photographs, oral histories, newspaper archives, and related research guides, covering topics such as Chinese immigration history, Japanese American wartime incarceration, Hawaiian history, and the military service of APA veterans. Content directly relevant to the Chinese American community includes the primary source collection *Chinese Immigration* , containing firsthand accounts and historical archives from immigrants, as well as a collection of APA historical videos suitable for classroom use.

All resources are freely available through the Library of Congress Digital Collections ( loc.gov ) . The library stated that these documents aim to help educators incorporate APA contributions and history into their classroom teaching during Asian American Heritage Month.
