We warmly invite you to celebrate the ancient game of Go (围棋) and participate in an American Go Association (AGA)–rated tournament in Minneapolis. Join us for this special event to experience the challenge of competitive play, connect with Go enthusiasts from across the Midwest, and honor the cultural tradition of this timeless game.

As part of the tournament, beginners are invited to a special Learn to Play Go session. Participants will receive an introduction to the rules, followed by hands-on practice with guidance from experienced mentors in the Minnesota Go community. The session will conclude with a friendly 9×9 competition featuring a variety of prizes. The Learn to Play session is co-sponsored by the Twin Cities Go Club, the University of Minnesota China Center, and the Joint Action for Diversity Engagement (JADE).
