First Annual Twin Cities Asian Fair launched at Hilde Performance Center in Plymouth

In spite of having to endure a tropical day of 90 degrees on June 3rd, The Twin Cities West Metro Asian Fair delivered on its mission to celebrate the rich and diverse Asian cultures in the local community reaching residents in Plymouth, Maple Grove, Minnetonka, New Hope and the adjacent areas although everyone from near and far were welcome to attend this free event. The Fair sought to promote and celebrate the richness and diversity of Asian culture by providing a platform for Asian art performances, food tasting, culture display, and other related activities. The goal is to bring together people of all backgrounds and ages to learn, appreciate and celebrate the beauty of Asian culture.

Although the weather was a challenge, those that attended the event were ables to celebrate the rich and diverse Asian cultures through various activities such as Asian art performances, food tasting, culture exhibits, games and information displays. And you had the opportunity to connect with the AAPI communities including Chinese, Indian, Vietnamese, Korean, Hmong, Thai.
