Description of Program: The Chinese Language Program at the University of Minnesota has a history of 59 years. We teach both undergraduate and graduate levels of Chinese language courses. Ina the beginning and intermdiate levels, communicative skills in Chinese are emphasized, especially listening and speaking. The higher level courses also teach cultural and social elements of China.
